BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT

 

Welcome again in dailyworship i hope that you are fine and doing great, as we made learning word of God and new guidings our habit, today's lesson will never leave you the same as before you read this article.

As we speak about the concepts of "body," "soul," and "spirit" have been discussed and interpreted in various ways throughout history and across different cultures and belief systems all about devine matters.

1. Body: The body refers to the physical aspect of a person himself. It includes all the tangible and material components of a human being, such as organs, tissues, bones, and the sensory organs. In many religious and philosophical traditions, the body is seen as the vessel through which individuals interact with the world.

2. Soul: The concept of the soul is often associated with an individual's inner essence or consciousness. Different belief systems have varying interpretations of the soul itself. In many religious traditions, the soul is considered immortal and is believed to carry a person's unique identity and consciousness beyond the physical body . It is often associated with emotions, thoughts, and personal characteristics.

3. Spirit: The spirit is another aspect of human existence that is often connected to a person's inner life and consciousness. It can be seen as the vital force that animates a person. In some belief systems, the spirit is linked to the breath of life that was given directly from God or the spark of divinity within an individual. The concept of the spirit is also diverse, with varying interpretations.

Oops! You thought it's over? 

Now let's check what is their descriptions according to bible;

1. SPIRIT

According to bible John 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." As God is a spirit HIMSELF it is crear that we have been made by the image of God at first sight

 Is revealed in  Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." 

There fore, the creation of the spirit is the first form of a man as it was stated on previous verses from the bible.

Here comes what spirit can do and what cant't be done by a spirit or we can say characteristics of the spirit.

i.) It's the foundation of what happens on the body but once it is neglected is when it stays back and left the body take advantage.

Romans 8:5-6

[5]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 

[6]For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 

ii.) It has the knowledge of the unseen for what it can't be told by normal eyes and the secrets of the devine, is what a spirit can hold a knowledge about.

1 Corinthians 2:10

[10]But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

2.BODY

In order to harbour the spirit God created a body from dusts and form a man Genesis 2:7

[7]And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

From the word of God it explained that as God created the earth and saw that everything was wonderful  He gave a human being many tasks to provide protection to living organisms on earth, air and water.

Genesis 1:28

[28]And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 

3. SOUL

The third part of the Human being is accomplished by a soul, after God made a man from the earth dusts and breathed into his nostrils 

Genesis 2:7

[7]And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

And it's characteristic is guiding decisions and creates a bridge between a spirit and the body.

And that's why we have never seen the soul claimed to left the body but once the spirit is gone, we'll notice that the soul is no longer in the world and we call a person He or she has died.

What matters from the above descriptions is tha a human has three dimensions which contains body, soul and spirit. And together they made a wonderfull life during the time they are together.

But don't forget that, at the end of the day only the spirit will survive, but judgement will be done according to what was being done by the combination of both three dimensiins of a man.

The say of the day " don't ever let your body do what you don't want to do, since you are the spirit"
